Alcoholism: Hawkeye is an alcoholic. He tried not being an alcoholic. It didn't work for him. Alcohol is likely to feature heavily in his tags.

Violence/death: Hawkeye has spent quite some time in the Korean War, seeing the ugliest side of it. He's pretty mentally scarred by it, and it may feature in internal narration or comments to other characters.

Racism/homophobia: Hawkeye is fairly progressive for his time, but his time is the 1950s. He has a fairly outdated set of terms and understandings of race, gender, and sexuality. I tend to go light on this, because I'm not hugely comfortable playing it, but I'd feel remiss for not mentioning it.

Misogyny: One of Hawkeye's enduring flaws is that he is really, really bad at seeing women as people. He doesn't think he's a misogynist, but then, he's working in a 1950s backdrop. He'll readily acknowledge that women are very good at woman jobs, but he has much more trouble with them in jobs he thinks of as masculine, or indeed with treating them as equals. He tends to interact with women by hitting on them.

Sexual assault: I plan on playing down this aspect of his character (because I'm not hugely comfortable playing it), but canonically Hawkeye has shown some disrespect towards women's boundaries. It would never get to the point of rape, but he has in the past kissed women against their will, or put them in sexual situations without their consent. Essentially, he's not a rapist or abnormally aggressive for his time, but he can take a joke too far in that regard.

Blood/gore: He's a surgeon.
